NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police say a woman was sexually assaulted and robbed early Sunday morning in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The attack happened around 1 a.m. near North 10th and Roebling streets.
Police said the 28-year-old victim was on a set of steps going into a building when a man threw her down the stairs.

He allegedly sexually assaulted her, then stole her purse, containing her ID, cash and credit cards.
Police said the suspect used the victim’s credit card later that day at a CVS on 86th Street in Bensonhurst.
