NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A police officer was struck by a vehicle in Brooklyn on Wednesday night.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. near East 83rd Street and Foster Avenue in Canarsie.
The officer was making a traffic stop at the time of the incident. The officer was taken to a local hospital to be treated for a possible broken leg and some minor injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
