SMITHTOWN, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A United States Air Force sergeant is trying to get a cat from the Middle East to the United States.
The sergeant rescued Stan while deployed.
He’s now scheduled to return to his home in the Midwest but has no way to get Stan back with him.
The sergeant has asked the Smithtown-based rescue organization Guardians of Rescue for help to get Stan to the U.S. For more information on how to help, click here.
