NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Four people were shot in the Bronx on Wednesday.
It happened just after 5 p.m. in the Williamsbridge section.
Police say the shooter fired from an SUV, hitting a group of people standing on the sidewalk.
The victims range in age from 15 to 60 years old.
CBS2’s Cory James spoke with the aunt of an 18-year-old who was shot in the head.
“I’m surprised because he doesn’t even talk. He’s very quiet, you know. He doesn’t even talk. If I ever came to the house … he’s either sitting with a book or fixing something. I don’t think so. It surprises me,” Jasmin Willoughby said.
Authorities believe three of the victims were innocent bystanders and one of them may have been the intended target.
So far, no arrests have been made.
