See It: Ramapo Police Officer Helps Rescue Raccoon With Head Stuck In Can

POMONA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A police officer made a unique rescue in Rockland County on Sunday.

Video shows a Ramapo officer chasing down a racoon that somehow got a can stuck on its head.

Police say a homeowner in Pomona called police when they noticed the animal in trouble in their yard.

It took a couple minutes, but the officer was eventually able to get the can off and set the little guy free.
