8 People Hurt, Including 3 In Critical, After Fire At Bronx Apartment Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Several people were hurt when a three-alarm fire broke out early Wednesday morning in the Bronx.

The flames started around 5 a.m. on the second floor of a residential building on Park Avenue West in the Concourse section.

Police said at least eight people were injured, three critically.

The six-story building has dozens of apartments, but it was evacuated shortly after the fire began.
