ALBANY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — The road to getting a driver’s license just got easier in New York.
The state will now allow people to begin the application process online and take their written tests online, as well.
For minors, the tests have to be supervised by a parent or guardian.
The applicant will later have to visit a DMV office in person to complete the process, including taking a road test, to actually get their license.
