Connecticut High School Students Could Face Disciplinary Action For Bracket Ranking Female Classmates

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (CBSNewYork) — A group of high school students in Fairfield could face disciplinary action after a tournament-style bracket ranking female classmates was posted online.

The Instagram post encouraged participants to vote for one name in each pairing from Ludlowe and Warde high schools.

In a statement, the Fairfield Schools superintendent said, “We take this situation very seriously and commit to a thorough investigation. All students involved will be held accountable.”
